The method by which we provide shipping containers.

Tilt-Bed truck

The Tilt-Bed truck is capable of delivering containers that are up to 24 feet in length or a combination of containers (for example, two 10-foot containers). This truck is the smallest in our delivery fleet and features the tightest turning radius. It is ideal for deliveries within urban areas, on mountain roads, and at sites with limited access.

The truck is positioned at the desired location for the container; the bed is tilted, allowing the container to roll off the back of the truck into the designated position. A minimum of 60 feet of straight line clearance is required for this truck to safely execute the delivery. When you place your order, we will inquire whether you prefer the container to be loaded with the doors facing the cab or the rear of the truck, as this will affect the final door orientation at the delivery site.

Please inform us of any clearance issues at the site or along the route to the site. We are more than willing to assess the route prior to delivery. Rental storage containers that are 24 feet and smaller are delivered and collected using these trucks.

Tilt-Bed truck and trailer

The Tilt-Bed truck and trailer combination is capable of delivering containers that measure up to 45 feet in length or a combination thereof (for example: 2 x 20-foot containers, 4 x 10-foot containers). This truck necessitates a clearance of 100 feet in a straight line to successfully complete the delivery. Initially, the truck is reversed to the designated location for the container placement. Subsequently, the trailer is tilted, allowing the container to be rolled off the rear of the trailer. When you place your order for delivery, we will inquire whether the container should be oriented with the doors facing the cab or the back of the truck. This orientation will dictate the final door positioning at the delivery location.

Please inform us of any clearance issues at the site or along the route to the site. We are more than willing to assess the route prior to delivery to ensure that the delivery can be accomplished. Our rental storage containers, which include 40-foot standard, 40-foot high cube, 45-foot high cube, or 2 x 20-foot units, are delivered and retrieved using these trucks.

Flatbed truck

The Flatbed truck is capable of delivering containers that are up to 45 feet in length. In contrast to the Tilt-Bed truck option, we cannot place containers directly on the ground. To finalize the delivery, a forklift, crane, or other offloading equipment must be available at the site. Typically, this delivery truck option is chosen when the delivery location is situated more than 200 miles away from one of our yards.

Please inform us of any clearance issues at the site or along the route to the site. We would be pleased to assess the route prior to delivery to ensure that the delivery can be successfully completed.

Side-lifter truck

The side-lifter truck is equipped with two sliding cranes positioned at the front and rear of the trailer, enabling it to either place the container on the ground or lift it onto the trailer. This truck is capable of delivering containers ranging from 20 to 45 feet in length, or two 20-foot containers, as long as all containers are fitted with four bottom ISO corner castings. It is the largest vehicle in our delivery fleet.

One of the primary benefits of the side-lifter truck is its impressive load capacity of 42,000 pounds. It can efficiently transfer containers from other trailers or chassis at your location, handling a maximum load capacity of 72,000 pounds. If a solid level surface is available on-site, the side-lifter truck can stack containers up to two levels high. To facilitate this, the driver positions the truck next to the designated area for the container. Subsequently, the outriggers are deployed, and the container is either offloaded or loaded exclusively from the driver’s side.

When you place your order for delivery, we will inquire whether the container should be loaded with the doors facing the cab or the rear of the truck. This decision will influence the final door orientation at the delivery location.

The side-lifter truck incurs a higher cost compared to the Tilt-Bed truck delivery option, as it does not necessitate a 100-foot straight line clearance for the delivery process. Additionally, a side-lifter truck is utilized when the container must be positioned on an elevated platform or stacked atop another container.

Please inform us of any clearance issues at the site or along the route to the site. We would be pleased to assess the route prior to delivery to ensure that the delivery can be successfully executed.

Crane truck

The crane truck is capable of delivering containers that are up to 24 feet in length or a combination of such containers. Additionally, this truck has the ability to tow a trailer if multiple 20-foot (or smaller) containers are to be delivered to the same site. A crane is installed between the cab and the deck to facilitate the loading and unloading of containers. Under normal conditions, the crane can position a 20-foot container approximately 25 feet away from the truck. This vehicle is operated by a certified crane operator.

The crane truck serves as an excellent delivery solution when the container needs to be placed over a fence, on an elevated platform, stacked atop another container, or when precise placement is critically important. It is important to note that the feasibility of each delivery placement is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

To ensure your site is ready for delivery, the shipping container should be situated on firm, dry, and level ground, such as pavement, gravel, or solid dirt.

Deliveries made by Tilt-Bed and Flatbed trucks are quoted at a flat rate, which includes 30 minutes of offloading time. If the site is unprepared to receive the delivery, equipment is not ready, or similar issues arise, and additional time is necessary, an hourly rate will be applied according to our terms and conditions, charged in 15-minute increments.

Deliveries using side-lifter and crane trucks are typically billed at an hourly rate, starting when the driver departs from our yard and ending when the driver returns.

For all deliveries, our dispatcher will contact the site representative 24 hours prior to confirm the 2-hour delivery window. On the day of delivery, the truck driver will also call the site representative to provide a 30-minute delivery window.

Terms and conditions are applicable to all deliveries.
